Job Description
Cleans and calibrates gages for the JGI Dimensional Lab (including but not limited to pin gages, gage blocks, ring gages, thread plugs and similar items)
Demonstrates a positive team attitude while working with colleagues
Creates detailed reports and stickers for certified gages in JGI's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
Assists with researching and implementing new technology and data entry
Works in a team environment to address customer needs
Processes incoming calls or emails and provides customer assistance where necessary
Pay is commensurate with experience and demonstrated aptitude
Job Requirements
Have a high school diploma or GED
A college degree or ongoing enrollment in is preferred
Math aptitude and Excel experience are required
Be able to lift or carry 20 pounds
Previous dimensional lab, manufacturing, or finishing is preferred
Strong written communication skills and CRM experience a plus
Excellent manual dexterity, patience, focus, and openness to feedback are essential
Ability to understand what our A2LA accreditation means and how that applies to testing procedures and data entry
Understand what traceability means and how to apply the correct numbers to different type of tool/test procedures
